At 10 pm on Friday, July 30, Det. Jimmy McKee of the Coral Gables Police Department observed three males watching the tented residence. The teens were arrested and charged with 1 count of Loitering and Prowling. The subjects stated they were there to burglarize homes that were tented and had previously burglarized homes in Coral Gables in the month of July.

On Tuesday, June 22, at approximately 8 a.m., an unknown subject followed the victim (store manager) into the Radio Shack as he unlocked the front door to the store. Once inside, the subject placed an unknown object (possibly a firearm) into the victims back and ordered him into the back room to disable the alarm system.
